Aerospace Toolpath Error Hunt

Find and correct unsafe or inaccurate commands in an instructional CNC program before simulation.

Safety and Application Boundary

This component is an educational manufacturing prototype. It is not approved for installation on a crewed aircraft, operational aircraft, or flight-critical system. Any real aerospace application would require additional engineering analysis, material certification, process control, inspection, documentation, and regulatory approval.

Challenge work involving machine code, CAM, workholding, or equipment must be reviewed before any physical machine operation.

Mission sequence

Complete the Challenge

  1. 1
Review the supplied program and dimensioned path.
  2. 2
Identify wrong units, positioning modes, unsafe rapid moves, missing retracts, incorrect coordinates, or unsupported commands.
  3. 3
Create a corrected version and verify it with the path visualizer.
  4. 4
    Explain the three highest-risk errors.
Required evidence
