About

About LockwoodSTEM

LockwoodSTEM.org is a student engineering hub for course pathways, technical resources, certification expectations, and project documentation.

LockwoodSTEM.org

LockwoodSTEM is designed to help students navigate engineering coursework with clear access to lessons, resources, certifications, FabLab expectations, and course-specific portfolio evidence.

The site supports students as they move from design thinking into sketching, CAD, technical drawings, fabrication, testing, and presentation.

Academy of Advanced Aerospace Engineering

The academy pathway uses aerospace applications to help students connect classroom engineering skills to authentic design, manufacturing, documentation, and testing problems.

Students are expected to think like engineers, communicate professionally, and build evidence of growth through course-specific portfolios.

Instructor Background

Jonathan Lockwood serves as an engineering instructor, academy chair, FabLab lead, robotics coach, and college physics adjunct. His teaching work focuses on applied engineering, physics, design thinking, technical communication, prototyping, and project-based learning.

The LockwoodSTEM site reflects that work by giving students a structured place to access engineering lessons, document their progress, prepare for certifications, and connect classroom skills to real design and fabrication practices.
