Collect comparable evidence from material samples using the assigned test method.

  1. Identify the independent, dependent, and controlled variables.
  2. Measure and record each sample consistently.
  3. Repeat trials when required and note unusual results.
  4. Photograph or describe the observed failure or deformation.
