Hands-on requirement

After passing the online test, complete a supervised CNC workflow. Your teacher will approve the hands-on portion from the teacher dashboard.

Student must demonstrate

Identify approved material and correct stock dimensions.
Review the CAD/CAM setup and toolpath simulation before cutting.
Select the correct bit/tool and confirm it is secure.
Secure stock with approved workholding and keep the toolpath clear of clamps.
Set or verify work zero under teacher direction.
Run a supervised dry run/air cut or preview and monitor the real cut safely.
Stop the machine safely for unexpected noise, movement, smoke, tool breakage, or loose stock.
Clean chips/dust and return tools/materials after the machine fully stops.
