Hands-on requirement

After passing the online test, complete a supervised workflow using measuring/marking tools, clamps, and an approved cutting or finishing tool. Your teacher will approve the hands-on portion from the teacher dashboard.

Student must demonstrate

Select the correct tool for the material and task.
Measure and mark material clearly before cutting.
Secure the material with a clamp, vise, or approved fixture.
Cut away from the body and keep hands out of the blade path.
Use files, deburring tools, or sanding blocks safely to finish edges.
Return tools and clean the station before leaving.
